Easter Egg Hunt

How did your weekend go? At our house, we had a sweet weekend overloaded with jelly beans and chocolate eggs. Remember the Easter egg hunt at Edmonds that I was talking about? Well, we went there last Saturday. The kids had so much fun and the parents were relieved no one was hurt, everyone get their share of candies.

I didn’t have a good shot of the kids running off to pick up their eggs. For a moment, my husband who had never been to an Easter egg hunt event before thought that the eggs would be hidden, rather than scattered around in the field. After all the kids had their turns (there were three rounds of egg hunt for three different age groups – 2-4 years old, 5-7 years old and 8-10 years old), they sat down to open up their eggs and devour their goodies.

The Anderson Center Field at Edmonds, WA is really very spacious. After the egg hunt, the kids went around to get a face painting each. There’s also a playground for the kids to use up all their candy rush.

And before we break for lunch, the kids met up with Easter bunny and had a picture with him. I think we still have a picture of him from last year.

Hope you guys had a great weekend too. Now’s time for me to get some of those Easter candies while the kids are in school!

XOXO, Grace
